First off, if you are having issues charging your iPhone in the Everpurse please use a paperclip to clean out the lint in your iPhone charging port.

1. If my phone is fully charged, can I keep it in the SmartPocket™ of my everpurse x kate spade new york handbag?

While your everpurse x kate spade new york handbag is designed to keep your phone charged for you, it is also perfectly safe to keep your phone in your Everpurse all day long, even after your phone is fully charged.

2. Can I leave my iPhone inside my handbag while it’s charging on the mat?

Yes! If your iPhone is in the SmartPocket™ while your handbag is on the charging mat, your phone will be charged by the SmartPocket™. Please note that whenever your phone is in the smartpocket, and the handbag is on the charging mat, your everpurse x kate spade new york handbag will FIRST charge your iPhone and once the phone is at fully charged (100%) it will THEN, charge your handbag. The light on the charging mat will turn green when both are fully charged.

3. Do I have to leave my iPhone inside my handbag while my handbag is charging?

No, you do not have to leave your iPhone inside the smart pocket for the handbag to charge on the mat.

4. Can I leave my case on my iPhone while it’s charging inside of my handbag?

Yes! you can use most two-piece or snap on kate spade new york cases with your everpurse x kate spade new york handbag. If you’re unsure if your case will work with your handbag, please contact support@everpurse.com.

5. How fast will my iPhone charge inside of my handbag?

Your phone will charge inside your Everpurse at the same rate as when it’s plugged into a wall outlet. The rate of the charging will depend on how charged your phone already is. On average your iPhone will charge about 1% per minute for the first 30 min, and then about 1% every 2 min after that.

6. How should I use the charging mat?

Plug in the Everpurse charging mat with the included USB cable and wall adapter. Align the Everpurse logo on your bag to the kate spade new york logo on the charging mat. There is a magnet that will help line up the bag with the mat. You will see a solid blue light on the mat indicating the bag is charging. You will see a solid green light once your bag is fully charge.

7. How long does it take to charge my bag?

On average, it will take 6-8 hours to fully charge the battery inside your kate spade new york bag.

8. What should I do if the blue light on my charging mat starts blinking?

This means that there is not enough energy to charge your handbag. Make sure that you are using the adapter and USB cable that came with your handbag. Try unplugging the adapter and re-plugging it into a new wall outlet. You can also try unplugging the USB cable from the adapter and plugging it back in again to ensure a good connection.

9. Why does my handbag get warm when charging?

Your handbag will get warm just like your iPhone does when it’s plugged into a wall outlet and charging. This is perfectly normal.

10. Can I overcharge my handbag or my phone?

No, you can leave your phone inside your handbag and your handbag on the mat indefinitely. This will not hurt either your phone or your handbag. When fully charged, your handbag batteries will go into maintenance mode which keeps it fully charged. Also, once your iPhone is fully charged the smart-charging technology in your handbag will directly power your iPhone, this ensures the battery is fresh and increases its longevity.

11. Can leaving the bag on the charger with the green light on for too long damage the product in any way?

No, there is no limit to the time you can leave your handbag on the mat. The handbag battery will simply go into maintenance mode if it is fully charged.

12. Is my handbag water resistant or waterproof?

Although the exterior of your handbag is pretreated to help protect against stains or light water contact, your handbag is not water resistant or waterproof. Liquid spills or water submergence can compromise the material of your handbag along with the electronic component inside. Please care for your handbag as you would your iPhone.

13. Is there any way to charge an Android phone?

No. Right now your handbag will only charge your iPhone but we welcome any feedback you may have! We know how important your phone is and how much you love your handbag. We’re excited to create an extra special bag that will allow your phone to stay charged as you live your interesting life on the go!

14. Which phones work with the Everpurse?

Your handbag works with iPhone 5/5s, iPhone 6/6s, iPhone 6+/6s+, iPhone 7, iPhone 7+, iPhone 8, iPhone 8+ and iPhone X. As new iPhones are released, we will make new compatible sleeves available, so that you can upgrade your handbag when you upgrade your phone! When you upgrade your iPhone, upgrade your handbag! Your handbag comes with sleeves for iPhone 5/5s, iPhone 6/7/8/X, and iPhone 6+/7+/8+. Contact support@everpurse.com for information on purchasing sleeves for future iPhones.

15. Is my handbag compatible with international voltages?

Yes! The AC adapter included with your everpurse charging mat works for 110 to 240V, and is compatible with all standard outlet voltages internationally. Make sure you continue to use the USB cable and adapter that came with your everpurse x kate spade new york with a converter for your country.

16. What fits inside the wristlet?

The wristlet is great for carrying all your essentials! In addition to our phones, we like to carry a small wallet, a pen, lipstick, keys, and anything else you would normally carry in a wristlet!

17. What should I do if my handbag technology is not working?
